Job Description

Parametrix is seeking a Stormwater Design Engineer to join our growing, outstanding team of award-winning environmental and water resource professionals in the Puget Sound region. We are conveniently located in downtown Seattle.

WHO YOU ARE:

Experienced: Civil, Environmental, or Geological Engineer with 6+ years of experience, PE license or expect to obtain in the next year, demonstrated experience in stormwater modeling and design for municipal and transportation projects, and fish passage, hydraulics, and river design expertise.  Modeling aptitude and expertise with WWHM, MGSFlood, SWMM, HEC-RAS and SRH-2D or SMS. Record of client management and development or interest in building expertise.

Talented: Experience and success in leading, supporting, executing, and delivering tasks on complex projects including concepts, designs, drawings, specifications, reports, running models, and preparing analyses and recommendations.

Relationship-focused: Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, team player, and not afraid to ask questions and take risks. Driven to support and serve clients. We are seeking highly motivated candidates to work collaboratively with clients, agency staff, and co-workers, interested in coordinated design work with other disciplines.

Excel at Communication: Demonstrated ability to clearly express ideas and convey information in verbal and written form.

Curious and Passionate: You have a passion for stormwater, water resources, and environmental work and an entrepreneurial spirit.
