Job Description


Parametrix is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer to support growth within our Environmental Division in our Bremerton or Seattle location in support of the Puget Sound Offices (Seattle, Puyallup & Bremerton). This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented, established team of Chemical and Civil Engineers.  In Bremerton we are located at the Ferry Terminal and have amazing water views.  In Seattle we are located in downtown Seattle with access to transit and bike lanes. Our office has an open and collaborative design and is in convenient proximity to interface with many of our clients.


Talented: You have your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical, civil or mechanical engineering, 5+ years of experience in the engineering field and your PE. Your previous experience includes a combination of PS&E experience, CM experience, and background in industrial/municipal wastewater, stormwater, civil and mechanical design.

Technically Focused: We are looking for an Engineer who is interested in supporting multidisciplinary projects with an emphasis on stormwater management, water and wastewater treatment, and environmental engineering.  You have proven experience that includes one or more of the following: Stormwater, water and wastewater management and treatment; RI/FS and remedial design including surface and ground water treatment; Task and project management; Experience with northwest municipal and industrial projects and clients; Business development experience including preparation of proposals and presentations; Proficiency with  CADD  and stormwater modeling methods; and development of plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, manuals, and technical memoranda.

Relationship Focused: Proactive communication and excellent writing skills will serve you well as you prepare reports and technical memoranda. You demonstrate a strong ability to team and coordinate effectively while embodying a stellar client service ethic.

Collaborator: Our existing team is highly talented and can provide crucial support. Strong team orientation and the ability to successfully integrate and collaborate within the Environmental Division and across all disciplines is a key to success at Parametrix.
