CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION ADMIN (#PSO1714)
Parametrix, a leading engineering, planning, environmental sciences and construction management firm, is seeking a CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION ADMIN to join our Puget Sound Community Building team in Seattle. Travel will be required as necessary to support projects. Our Community Building team works for a variety of clients, including local and regional municipalities, state agencies, ports, transit, tribes, and private developers.
WHO YOU ARE:
Experienced: You will have the opportunity to provide documentation support to projects and also support our CM team with your administrative excellence. This position will provide quality assurance, cost and pay estimation, setting up project files and tracking spreadsheets, preparing, editing and revising documents, maintaining calendars, attending project meetings & taking notes, assisting with production and distribution of project deliverables, and project filing. You have a background in providing technical and administrative support; document coordination; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and scheduling applications (MS Project and/or Primavera experience is a big plus); and have familiarity with federally funded projects Local Agency Guidelines (LAG), and documentation requirements for public works construction projects.
Organized: This position requires someone who is proactive, organized and detail-oriented and interested in providing project documentation and administrative support to construction projects in our Community Building Division.
Flexible: You may also coordinate the planning, budgeting, and scheduling of administrative and project-related functions; prepare, edit and distribute documents; coordinate with teams across Parametrix, regarding deadlines for documents, contracts, and pre-bills; schedule appointments and coordinate meetings and travel; and maintain data and/or filing.
Relationship & Communication Focused: Must have strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, and be a team player. The successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an incredible work ethic. You are willing to follow up on information, ask questions and collaborate, collaborate, collaborate!
